What is blush?

How to apply blush? 

First of all, you need a small to medium-sized face brush with bristles that aren’t too dense. A stipple brush is perfect.

Tap the brush into the pan, flick it to knock off any excess product. then Lightly tap on your cheek, and then blend using a soft circular motion.

Play around with the blush placement. Start applying onto the apples of your cheeks. Start the blush halfway on the apples of your cheeks, then brush it back and up toward the top of your ears. This creates nice movement and shape.

Where to apply blush?

You need to identify your face shape. There are almost 6 common face shapes. Oval face, heart-shaped, square face, round face, an oblong face, and triangle face. Each has a different application:

Oval face, sweep your blush over your cheekbones. Aim to place the blush just above the bone. 

Heart-shaped face, apply blush to the outer corner of your cheekbone.

Square face, apply your blush below the cheekbone

Round face, sweep your blush from the ear down the cheekbone towards the mouth. 

Oblong/long face, apply blush on cheekbones below the outer corners of the eyes and blend well.

Triangular face, blush should be applied in a sideways V on the cheekbones.

What color is blush?
